You could try pulling battery for 30+ seconds, to start. Also try different emmulations, play with settings, in browser options. And try opera mini aftermarket browser.

| I had this error on an 8800 and it would lock up the device so only connecting to the Desktop Software and re-installing the OS would get it working again. Man, did that ever suck! I tracked it down to having groups in my address book. As soon as I deleted the groups the problem went away. Previously it would crop up when coming out of sleep mode or when hanging up after a phone call. Odd times that didn't make sense. Somebody suggested that having groups caused it, and while skeptical, I was desperate and willing to try anything. Sure enough, that did it. It's worth looking at, anyhow. | | Offline

| The back cover should slide down with just light pressure and a squeeze. The battery pull is the way to reset a Blackberry. No little pin hole for a bent paper clip like on Treos or other phones. | | Offline

As Rambo said, it's no big deal. No knives needed. As the link above explains, this is first thing to try when the blackberry is misbehaving.

Also, bryan, you said you only have this error when going to that one site? It is probably an issue off something with the site that the browser cannot resolve. You could try turn java off and see if the site is still useable but without the error, as part of testing different settings, etc.

| I started to get the same error after upgrade to 4.2. I do have a couple of groups and think it may be related to a bug as yet undiscovered. I reloaded the OS and re-downloaded the addresses from the Outlook server and it seems to have gone away, for now.

I won't say I don't have probelms opening some web pages with the BB browser, but nothing more than I've ever had going back to my 7100t with 3.8 or 3.9 or whatever it was.

Try opera mini. Look in aftermarket software forum, blackberryfaq.com or google it. There's an OTA download. Try it. You can delete it afterward if you don't want it. But a lot of people like it. There's a post by Mark Rejhon re settings and tweaking it to get the most from it.
