User had a Pearl that was syncing quite well over BES. No problems.
Device broke. User got a new one.
We cannot get it to sync anything more than messages and calendar. It will not sync contacts, tasks, etc. It's like they don't even exist.
If you go to "Address Book" on the device, you get greeted with "No Addresses" even though the user has thousands in their Exchange "Contacts" folder, and these were syncing fine with the last device.
Verizon said to resend the Service Book, which we did. No change.
A forum post said to delete two of the Service Books (Desktop SYNC and Desktop CMIME), which we did and resent. No change.
We deleted the entire user and device off the system, hard reset it and started over. No change.
Under "Default Services," only "Messaging" and "Calendar" are listed.
Under the user's properties in BES, everything is set to bidirectional sync.
