I like the Opera Mini browser more than the others, however the thing I like more about the standard browser is the ease of clearing the cache and history. I know its not difficult, but I just like how it's all in one on the standard browser.

Dropped to 8 or 9 from what? How much memory did you start out with?

I have about 19 Mb after a battery pull. I use Opera Mini numerous times througout the day. I typically see memory fluctuate between 15 an 17. It rarely drops below that - except for right now of course where I just checked and it's just under 14.

The inability to enter text directly into fields keeps me from using Opera Mini.

Keep using it.
It will drop further before you do the infamous pull.

Don't know if this was mentioned but it will lock up the connection on the 8830 quite often even after exiting. I must of had to pull the battery over 10 times by now. Other then that it isn't bad

I've been a opera mini 3 user for a very long time, when 4 came, I really didn't like it.. mainly because of the zoom.

Now zoom is a great idea.. but really don't apply to me. If I'm not misstaken I figured out a way to show old ver3 view. But by then it was to late, I already started to like the BB browser.. he he

Kinda sad, since I'm from Norway ;p
If it's any comfort, i've been using opera on my computesr for ages
