Default Blackberry/RIM Outage Notification

Please Login to Remove!

SO..As the title says. Is there some centralized site that I can monitor that tells me when there is a known outage that is affecting Blackberry message delivery?
The reason for asking is tha we experienced a *blip* early this morning (around 3:50am est) that definatly was not our server (pipe_plugged). RIM says that this error means that our connection doesn't have enough bandwidth to handle the traffic...well, we're a Tier1 ISP (think in the top 4 network providers in the world) so I don't think our pipe was too small...

Idealy, I would like a webpage that shows a simple Blackberry state...down, up, degraded...whatever!

Thanks.

i never noticed anything, i got emails all night long. as a matter of fact EST i was up til about 5:15am sending and receiving emails lol Could this have had something to do with your carrier instead of with RIM? as to your question, its been asked here before though i cant find the thread right now. i know there are some places you can google that will send a notification either via SMS or email.

-= Dataoutages.com =- for example is one such service

Too many moving parts. It could be your BB, your carrier, the towers you are using, or RIM. Closest thing out there is dataoutages.com

Or you could pay for Tx5 support from RIM.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

50,000 a year!!!
Well if each member donates a dollar we could have Tx5 support for BBF!

Plus it helps out a LOT that some of the Mod's here also help me run the list. It's growing daily and I have received plenty of positive feedback from people thanking me/us for having such a list active for them.
