Default What makes a blackberry curve 8130 better than the pearl

I seriously want to know like software things or whatever that are on the 8130 curve from AT&T and not on the pearl. To met it just looks like it's a wider pearl.

The BB 8130 is not a Curve, it is a Pearl2

The 8310 is a Curve. It has GPS. Whether it is better or not than a Pearl is all in the holders opinion.

the 8130 is from Vzw or Sprint, not ATT, the 8100 is from ATT, If you are referring to the 8310 curve it has several differences.

Compare Phones (Phone Scoop)

As ezrunner stated, for me it was form factor. I needed a full keyboard.

For me it was form factor, full keyboard (although, I think I was typing faster on the Pearl, cuase I'm still correcting mistake on the curve..., but the pearl got more words wrong and took more time to correct) and larger screen for watching videos (podcasts, movies, tv shows, etc.

Also, the old pearl 8100 had a 2.5mm headphone jack. The 3.5mm jack on the curve might have been the icing on the cake for me. I have a set of sennhieser headphones that I love using that I couldn't use with the old 8100 pearl (you can with the pearl 2 as it has the 3.5mm jack too)

I don't know if comparing the second generation Curve to the 1st generation Pearl is valid. That being said, the biggest difference is size of the keyboard and screen. It's all about user preference.

I know what you mean, but T-mobile and Rogers are still selling the first generation models for cheap, which may influence some people's decisions.
