Default What's the diff between a pause and a wait?

Please Login to Remove!

When programming a phone number for a contact into my phone, I wanted to add an extension to be automatically dialed. I see that I can insert a 'pause' or a 'wait'. What's the difference between the two? I guess I could try it out, but I'm lazy and have too much work to do...

Thanks in advance!

Doh! Of course. That makes sense. Thank you for the quick reply. I just synched my bb to outlook and the pauses get translated into commas in outlook. That's good to know in case I'm going from outlook to the BB. The character for a wait in outlook is an exclamation point (!)

Thanks again!

Ditto.

And the length of the pause can be adjusted in phone options.
