this problem never happens or at least im not aware of. im on bes, and it needs to be password protected. but im able to set it up for 15 minutes delay. so im watching a movie on my 8310 curve and after 15 minutes, it locked up in the password protection screen. i though it only locked up after15 minutes of in-activity? isn't it watching a movie counts as activity?

i dont think i had this problem before. when i watch a movie in the past, i always switch between the full screen mode and small screen mode. but when i press a button to switch it, it counts as activity? i dunno, this is very annoying. now if i watch 15 of minutes or more the screen just locked up in password protection mode. and i have try to switch it to 10 minutes, it locked up after 10 minutes. but when i change it to 1 minutes, it didn't locked up after 1 minutes, but i think it locked up after like 10 min. not sure maybe need to do further testing. also i also did the battery pull.

so any1 here knows what is going on and how to resolve this? thx in advance.

If you simply scroll the trackball while viewing every so often, it should keep the lock off.

From what you are telling me, it must. No, I don't know factually if it does, but it appears so from your experience.

yup just tested it with 1 min setting. after watching a movie clip for more than 1 minutes and not pressing any button or scolling on the trackball. it locked up. but if i scrolls with my trackwheel...it didn't lock up after 1 minute.

wow..this is annoying as hell. guess i have set it back to 15 minutes and move my trackball every once in awhile before it locked up.
