Default Help Out of Town Can't Get email messages

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Nextel 7520 on the Bes Server. I am currently out of town and my BB is not receiveing emails? I contacted Nextel Technical support and they suggested taking the battery out for 30 seconds hold the backlight key and reinsert battery. I did this but it did not work? Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do to get my emails. I do not have the laptop that contains the desktop software.

From the home screen go into options, scroll down to host routing table, click, select register now and wait for the registration message.

Can the BES admin send the service books down to your device again?

Today I am not sure but Monday yes. Anything I can do now to get the service books? I read here to delete the service books but I assume without the ability to get them sent this would not be a good idea?

correct. however, you are on the BES already. assuming you have a laptop and Desktop Manager, if you delete the Desktop [] service books, you should be able to plug up to Desktop Manager and regenerate your encryption key, which will resend your service books (you will have to be connected back to your network and have email access through your client to do this).

also, if you are in the states, you may not have your IT support until tuesday

That is my problem, I do not have my laptop with me and will not have access to it until Friday. If I understand what you are suggesting I should be able to delete the service packs contact the BES admin and have them resend. Is this the only option without the ability to have the desktop software?

You either need to have the Desktop Manager software to "reconnect" you to the BES, or your BES administrator need to click some buttons to make sure you have the service books sent down.
