Default Replacement 8310 activiation question

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I searched the forum but didn't see this question, sorry if I missed it.

I'm moving from an 8700c to 8310, am on BES from work, with 2 personal email accounts configured.

My company is doing system maintenance this weekend, including stuff that will make the BES service unavailable.

Also, my BES administrator is not available this weekend.

Can I go ahead and switch the SIM card to the new 8310, run the Setup Wizard, and configure non-BES email, etc. or should I just bite the bullet and wait until Monday?

I can limp along on my 8700, but there are charging and OS issues, and I'd like to use the new 8310 curve.

first, welcome to the Forum, lol, although it seems you've been here awhile, just never posted.

You can go ahead and setup and use the 8310.

You might have to delete the BIS accounts on Monday before activating on the BES, but it is so simple to add them back.
