I have too many contacts in my address book. Is there a quick way to delete them? I tried holding down the button but it wouldn't highlight extra contacts. It takes too long to delete them one by one.

Anyone have a suggestion? I have a 7780 if it matters.

You can wipe out the entire Address Book by going into Desktop Manager / Backup/Restore and wiping out the Address Book that way. There is no way to highlight more than one entry on the BB itself (unfortunately).

if you're synchronising your contacts with your mail client's contacts list
and It's available, purge via the computer then synchronise with your BlackBerry.
