Default Define shortcut to application?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I need to assign long press of a button to start some application or to develop special kind of java application which can listen for such events and react on them. What I tried is to have an application in background and trying to listen via KeyListener. Unfortunately events come just if application is in foreground.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
