Default Cannot Sync Contacts Wirelessly (8700) on BES

Hi, Using the 4.3 version on Desktop Manager d/l the other day, with a BES Server.

I cannot sync Contacts, MemoPad or Tasks wirelessly, it does not give the option for Blackberry Wireless Sync in the Desktop Manager. It only shows Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Novell groupwise etc.

It does however display it for the Calender so that works fine.

Any ideas why.,

i had a few unruly handsets whose contacts on Outlook didn't match what the handset had. Easy way to do it is disable the wireless synch on the BES for that users account/mailbox, then do the same on the handset via the options menu under Contacts.

then connect to desktop run the manager and reconfigure the synch options for contacts so it allows it to be done by Outlook and not wireless.

Synch all, and it should fix the missing contacts -- when finished, reverse everything.
