Hello All,

Im having some strange issues. I use my Pearl with OWA connected to my works exchange server. When I delete a msg from my device ( pearl ) it deletes from my exchange account perfect.. But when I delete a message from my Inbox it never gets deleted from my phone. So basically if I get 50 emails in a day i have to go in my phone and delete them all one by one.

Its quite a pain in the butt. I could of swore this worked in the past and they stay synchronized.

If I dont check an email on my phone but check it on the computer it stays unread on the phone. Even though on the computer its read already.

If anyone can help me I would greatly apreciate it. I have searched and searched and really cant find much help.

I can't speak to the synch issue but I can help with deleting messages! You can Select multiple messages for deletion by hitting this Shift Key and holding it while scrolling the trackball. You can also go to a date line and hit Menu>Delete Prior (and it will delete all messages for that date and older.

I think what you have is the way the BB works. Email doesn't sync, but it can reconcile from the BB to the server. If you delete on the BB and select "Delete from Handheld & Server" then it deletes from both. Deleting in Outlook will not delete on the BB. The only way to do that would be to log in on OWA as you seem to be doing and delete the mail before it has a chance to be pulled by RIM and sent to the device. Otherwise you will see it on the BB.

Thanks Guys, I did not know about the multi-delete option which makes it much easier. And thanks dub dub thats what I was afraid of. That it was just the nature of the way the BB and OWA ( not the best connection ) works together..
