I have the 8703 through Verizon.

I have a blackberry provided by my company and it syncs to the Microsoft Outlook on the laptop provided by the company wirelessly.

Is there any way I can use the Microsoft Outlook Calendar on my home PC and have it also sync to my blackberry? I don't use Outlook on my home PC for email, but I'd like to use the calendar function from both home and work.

Can I just download the desktop manager software, and sync my home PC through that and maintain using wireless for work? If I have bluetooth on both my home PC and blackberry, can I do it that way?

I don't mind if my personal calendar and work calendar are comingled. Infact, I prefer it this way.

I do not have Outlook even set up on my home PC yet. I was waiting for confirmation on whether I can do this or not. Any tips on setting it up if its sole purpose is to work with my blackberry?

Depends on how your company has their BES environment setup.

Bump- I'm looking for the same answer. I just brought my BB home after my IT dept set it up to wireless sync with my work server/computer. Now when I try to sync at home with my home laptop I get an error saying its forbidden b/c the BB is set up to sync wirelessly.

Anyway to sync manually via my home computer as well?

You will need to disable wireless sync on your blackberry in order to sync with your home computer,
Go to Calendar then Options, there look for Wireless Sync and change it to No

Also keep in mind that there is nothing personal on a BES enabled BB.

Before you try to do what jjmach described, it would be a good idea to check with your BES Admin and/or company IT Staff to see what is allowed. If the company owns and pays for the device and the service, they have the right to say what can and cannot be done with it. Putting personal info is just one such example. My advice to anyone contemplating adding personal info to a company supplied device is to get another device for the personal stuff. It is not worth the hassles and risks to use the company toys for personal reasons.

Additionally do not choose the BES option when installing Desktop Manager at home or else you will break your BES connectivity each time you sync at home. Choose the Internet/BIS option (I forget what it is actually called).

Is there a way to use one blackberry device and sync it to 2 computers but not have the calendar and contact information intermingle. i am interested in having 1 blackberry that dispalys 2 seperate calendars and 2 different contact files. is that possible?
