I read a number of threads with great suggestions on how to free up memory by deleting unnecessary files. However, I'm having a hard time locating the .cod files that I'd like to delete or BlackBerry.alx to edit.
When I go to... C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion I have 5 folders, but none called "Shared" or subfolders called "Loader Files" or "Java" where the .cod files are supposed to be. The only folders I have are AppLoader, BBBI Drivers, Modem Drivers, RIMDeviceManager, USB Drivers.
I'm sure I did something wrong, but no clue what it is. I installed the Desktop Manager that came with my 8130. And I downloaded the OS to my PC from this site:
BlackBerry® Software Updates
I have done what I can to clear memory from the device itself without using my PC, but I'm still looking to free up additional space. Any help would be appreciated.
