The O2 sim I ordered came yesterday (300 free texts and 1Mb of GPRS). So, I threw the card in and reset the blackberry - it works great for calls and SMS! The addition of calender functions etc is so useful!
however, I also wanted to use it for email and web browsing (occasionally). I have entered the following settings into the TCP menu in options:
APN: paynadgo.o2.co.uk
U/name: paynadgo
p/wd: password
however, on the main screen I get the "Data connection refused" message... so I thought I would try some different TCP settings. I can enter these just fine, but when I reset the blackberry by removing the battery and turn it back on the original settings are still there! How do I get rid of them!
Oh, and how do I set up email? I have neither BES access or the redirector software. Anyone know where I can get a copy of redirector from? Email is really what I want to use this for - but I will cope without it if needs be!
Thank you in advance,
Matt Miles

I hope I posted this in the correct forum! |
You need a Blackberry Data plan in order to use the device for e-mail and web browsing. I do not think the "pay-as-you-go" type plans will work.
