I just removed myself from the companies BES because of new policy restrictions they went to this year. I am now using redirector for mail and sync the calander/address book by connecting to the computer.

I just noticed all the company email addresses in my device address book are now [email address] where as in outlook they are normal [email address] I thought it was a fluke so I emptied out the address book on the device and did another sync. All the comany email addresses came out the same [email address]

The email addresses work ok but I would like them to appear as they do in outlook and as they have all these years on BES. Thoughts???

Could it be the version of desktop manager I'm using?

I have no ideas--BES experts can probably help here--but I do havesome modest curiosity in what happens if you send an email from the BB to [email address]? Does it get delivered? Does the exchange-qualified email get delivered?

Yep, they deliver just fine both ways so I think it's just a matter of cosmetics.

I was that close to posting this in the BES forum because I agree, I bet those guys who usually have exchange knowledge also can asnwer this real easily. I was just trying to follow the rules.

I got this resolved, in case anyone is interested I downgraded desktop manager back to 4.0.1.12 and all is fine now.
