Red face Losing Memory b/c of too many Outlook contacts, need to switch to GAL?

Please Login to Remove!

We all started out with 7750's and now slowly have had to start switching to 7250's b/c BB told us that the 7750's did not house enough memory for us considering we have 4500 contacts stored in a public outlook folder that we all sync with...the 7750's began deleting our emails as it need more memory. So far 2 guys haven't had any problems with the 7250's although today, one guy was down to only 19000 file bytes free. Obviously, I think the best solution is for us to convert from using the public contacts to a GAL, my question is has anyone else had to do this as a result of losing memory on a BB? We will only continue to add contacts, so we can't keep upgrading phones b/c we require more memory, but it seems as though this is what BB recommends using if we have a lot of contacts. I don't mind doing it if it will speed everyone up and use less memory, but I've never even looked into converting 4500 public folder contacts in Outlook to a GAL....I really appreciate any help or info anyone can provide!
