Default A Blackbery Novice needs advice

Please Login to Remove!

I am new to the forum and not very up to date with Blackberries.

Can someone please recommend the cheapest plan and device for me to use for email only.

I am a small business owner in New York and currently a customer with Verizon and TMobile.

Thanks for your valued assistance.

TMobile is the least expensive. The Blackberry add-on runs $19.95/month.

Thanks John. I am looking for a stand alone device without a voice plan.

Can you recommend a device type.

If you want email only then any of the devices would be fine. The 8100 or the 8700g (I think it's still available) might be the least expensive. The 8700g is full keyboard and the 8100 is SureType (Reduced) keyboard. My guess is the 8700 would be the device of choice for email only.

Don't look at price first. Make sure you have the coverage when and where you need it - where you live, work, play and travel. Price should be a secondary consideration.

If you don't have service, even the cheapest plan is too expensive!
