every time i try to go into any media section of my blackberry 8100 it always says unable to dis[play file on ringtones music pictures and video can someone tell me how to fix it

Could you see them previously? If so do a hard reset (Battery pull while the device is on) and check after it's booted back up.

If not, are you sure they are the format files?
