Default Quick Question on Charging 8830

Please Login to Remove!

When charging my 8830 and a call comes in, the BB does not ring.

I have looked everywhere.

How do I get it to ring when charging?

Thanks.

Is it charging via the USB cord connected to your PC with Mass Storage enabled on the Media Card? If so, the BB can't access the Media Card for the ringtone.

I guess you could move that one ringtone to your device memory.

No....this is when charging through A/C adaptor into the wall. I very rarely use the USB.....have an aircard that I need to terminate.

There is not a different charging profile that I am aware of.

Is your ringtone on the media card? Could you try one in device memory and see?

OK........keep experimenting and you shall find.

In profiles....advanced.....uncheck important calls.
