Default The videos on my bb8800 don't play smoothly..

Please Login to Remove!

i put all my videos on my mediacard and its bad enough that i cant play them fullscreen on 8800 but often the video doesnt play smoothly..it pauses briefly then continues etc youd think the phone doesnt have enough of speed/processor to play the video perfectly...

does anybody know how to solve this?

Look in Options >Status and post the number next to "file free."

also, it is possible they are not in the correct format for the blackberry and it is forcing it to play through a codec that isnt meant for that file. (my WMP 11 does this crap all the time). What are you using to convert the videos?

I personaly use 3gp I think it works better on the BB. Also try and pull your battery with the BB powered on it should free some memory. And read this.

When you put the video on your BB are you using the Media Manager or just dragging it to the memory card, because I have full screen 3gp movies on my BB.

it is 320x240..

Format: flv
Duration: 00:02:5.4
Start Time: 0.000 s
Bit rate: 46 kbit/s

Audio: mp3, 22050 Hz, mono, 48 kb/s
Video: flv, yuv420p, 320x240

oh well its not that big of a problem the mp4 videos work fine but certain videos dont play as smooth as the others..

thanks for your tips.
