|  Help needed bluetooth sync

I have just picked up a 8310, this is my 1st blackberry and im loving it!
I seem to be struggling trying to bluetooth my contacts from phone to 8310!!
the berry sees the phone and pairs but then bombs out!!!!
is there any setting that I need to play with to sort this out.
