Default Sprint outage for BIS Feb 05-06?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Just wanted to know if anybody else experienced trouble getting their email through BIS today (2/5/2007). Starting this morning I was not able to receive email from my work outlook account (I could still send from the BB) , called support did all you can think about (pull battery, register, soft reset, send service book, remove and add again the email account). Finally the rep told me there was nothing else she could do. She gave me a number for RIM, but the would have charged me if I wanted to get support from them.

Around 11:00pm I forced my accout to go through IMAP since my company supports that too, finally I got an email. I switched immediatly to OWA and was also able to receive email too, so I am thinking it was an outage on the BIS side?

Any thoughts

Thanks

I'm on Sprint and had no troubles receiving messages today. In fact Gmail was actually quick today.

I am with Nextel, and i support 120 users and we aren't getting anything email wise-they are hitting outlook @ desktop but nothing sent from the Bb or recieved to it. I joined this list a while back that was supposed to inform me of outages but i can't remember the site and i havent gotten a message.

Edit:I ended up finding my bookmark for dataoutages.com

Did you post on DataOutages email service this morning? I received your email but others have not confirmed. Everything is working well on IDEN/CDMA side here in DC

I did, I didn't even recieve a copy of my own email. I have sent an email to my Nextel Reps to find out if they know anything-they are not the greatest in keeping me in the know so know all my users are wigging out and expect answers from me and to get it fixed.
