Forgive me if i've overlooked this in the FAQ's. When i have my mozilla thunderbird up and running on my pc, i'm not able to get my email on my handheld. just as soon as i close my thunderbird, i'm able to receive emails on my handheld.

is there a setting that i need to adjust to receive email on both my handheld and thunderbird, or is this something i'm going to have to live with?

Welcome to the BlackBerryForums.

Yep, there is a setting, I just don't know where exactly in Thunderbird it will be... such as "Leave messages on server".

Similar to this FAQ (sorry, it was there!):
