Default Cannot Unhide Icons

Please Login to Remove!

I recently hid all of my home screen icons to view the desktop picture. Now I cannot unhide them. When I push alt-track wheel to unhide, I get a JVM 523 Error and it resets, HELP! I cannot get to anything. I push the alt esc button to get a few options that way, but I have nothing else. Can someone help?

Start with a battery pull and then try again.

I assume you've pulled the battery to reboot?

JVM 523 - Cause
For BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry® Device Software 4.1, this error may occur if a third-party browser channel icon has a HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) redirect.

Resolution - Reload / Update OS

Workaround
BlackBerry Device Software 4.1 (only)

If you are running BlackBerry Device Software 4.1, complete the following steps:

Complete one of the following, depending on the network on which the BlackBerry smartphone is operating:
For BlackBerry smartphones operating on a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) network, contact your service provider and have the BlackBerry Internet Service Browsing deactivated.
For BlackBerry smartphones operating on a Global System for Mobile Communications® (GSM®), remove the SIM card from the BlackBerry smartphone.
Perform a hard reset on the BlackBerry smartphone. For instructions, see KB02141.
Turn the wireless transceiver off. For instructions, see KB13201.
Click the Browser icon.
Expand the Browser Channels folder.
Highlight a third-party browser push channel.
Display the menu and click Delete Channel.
Repeat steps 7 and 8 for each third-party browser push channel.
Complete one of the following, depending on the network on which the BlackBerry smartphone is operating:
For BlackBerry smartphones operating on a CDMA network, contact your service provider and have the BlackBerry Internet Service Browsing activated.
For BlackBerry smartphones operating on a GSM network, re-insert the SIM card.
Turn the wireless transceiver on. For instructions, see KB13201.
Register the BlackBerry smartphone on the wireless network. For instructions, see KB00510.
Subscribe to the third-party browser push channels again

Default icons and error

I did try the battery reset before. No luck.

I cannot do the following:

"Turn the wireless transceiver off. For instructions, see KB13201.
Click the Browser icon.
Expand the Browser Channels folder. "

I have no icon to turn the wireless transceiver off and when I click the browser icon (thru alt esc only) I just get my bookmarks page.

Still trying...

Your likely best best is to wipe and reload the device.
