Unhappy Backlight Not Working?

Please Login to Remove!

The other day my backlight button on my 7290 was working just fine, but I've tried it today and it allows me to depress the button, but nothing lights up. Everything else works on the device fine, it hasn't been dropped or anything like that. Has anyone else come across this? Maybe there's a setting I'm overlooking?

Thanks
-Matt

Been there with my 7780, best bet is to have swapped out under warranty.

I have fixed some strange little quirks like this by pulling the battery and rebooting. I know it should not fix what looks like a hardware problem but my escape key was not working and when I rebooted for something else it started working again and has for eight months. So I have started rebooting whenever something is not working the way it was before and most time it resets. Must be some software glitch rather than the actual hardware for some fixes. Does not hurt to try before replacing.
