i have a personal ATT curve and i just started a job and got a XXXXXX verizon model. i know the ATT BB cant be unlocked for the verizon network so my questions are:

1) does anyone have a definite answer as to whether verizon is releasing a curve soon??

2) if i buy a verizon pearl, is there a sim card in my XXXXXX work model that i can simply put in the pearl? (does verizon use sim cards at all?)

3) if no sim card, would customer service be able to switch from my work BB to the new pearl if i buy one?

thanks

please watch your language. this is a family board

no definates on the curve for CDMA
no SIM in CDMA models that really help you any, the pearl doesnt have one, the 8830 does but only for GSM internationally.
you can just get your IT department to switch over your information to the new device

1. Check the Rumor Mill section here. It is rumored within the nect couple of months.
2. no
3. Will your work allow a Pearl on their network? They may not, you might want to get their approval first.

And do please watch your language. Thanks.

I thought the XXXXX was the model. If he uses language all the time he wont have to worry about a new BB. He wont have a job.

Once in a while someone does or says something stupid enough to be looked at.
Society today is certainly accustomed to the language used by people but the point that is being missed is we are here free and are offered and give advice to anyone who asks. There are a lot of kids on this forum because the usage of Black Berryxxx8217;s is no longer limited to the business world. I donxxx8217;t mind telling people to jump on this site for advice BECAUSE it is moderated by people who want to see the site grow and be used by anyone. Everyone will get upset at times but we should try to realize the words we type on a site may follow us to more places than we wish and for a long long time. Remember the Law student who thought doing a little porn on the internet would be ok because she was in school? Guess what, it followed her right to every job interview
