Default Help! Migrating BES 4.0 from Exch. 5.5 to Exch. 2000 - Any Advice?

Please Login to Remove!

Sorry if this is a repost or covered in another thread - I searched for it but haven't found an answer yet.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had any exp with migrating from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000. Our BES server is brand new, v4.0, built on a Windows 2000 server with all the latest and greatest sp's and hf's. It's currently sitting in my client's NT/5.5 environment and we're in the middle of a Win2k migration.

So from what little I've been able to find it looks as easy as just joining our BES 4.0 server (it's a Windows 2000 member server) to AD, moving all the mailboxes over, modify the MAPI profile for the 'besadmin' account and everything should work.

Does anyone know if it works like this or are there other things I should be aware of? Do you have to touch each handheld or is the besadmin account the only account that needs to be modified?

TIA!! hope someone can help me.
