Default Potential disaster using BES, Exchange, and Desktop Manager

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I made a stupid mistake when I connected a co-worker's blackberry to my work computer using Desktop Manager. Let's say the co-worker's name is Joe. As a result, my Outlook calendar is now displaying Joe's meetings! Even worse, Joe is displaced in his meetings by me! So now I have all of Joe's meetings! We are in a BES/Exchange 2003 environment. My guess is that my Outlook OST file was compromised by Desktop Manager when I plugged in Joe's Blackberry to my computer. Help! What can I do to reverse this problem?

Thanks,
Don't Try This At Home (A.K.A. Doh-TTAH)

Default

Connect/sync your BB to make sure it has the necessary service books. Have Joe delete the BES service books from his BB (hopefully he didn't end up with an IT policy -- if so, remove it). AFAIK you'll each have to manually clean up the mess created.
