friends...in Romania is 4 am ..is mornig ...at 6 am i go to work...in about 2 hours..can u tell me if found soething to resolve my problem?..

what suggestion?..to instal first Desktop...then to stop desktop...instal OS...delete VENDOR...and after theat...start again DESKTOP?...yes...i hade made exactly like that

I think it would be good for you to contact Orange for assistance will probably speak your language.

We are trying to assist you, but I think we are having issues with speaking different languages....

for me is not a problem with language...i dsont know to write very well...but i understand...the phone is buyed from Itally is a T-mobile (TIM) phone..bring in romania...and here is crashed.is not on orange yet...i want to make it on orange...but is crashed

but why when i give right click on Blackberry device manger and then hit proprietes show me disconected ..then conected..then again disconected..and conected...when i put to udate?

or another question...how can i make BB to stay connected...cause..i think...when start to update...exactly when he is at Conecting with device ROM ..and connetcting to boot ROM...the red led...start..the phone i think resrt...shows a clepsidra..like he is charching like Windows when is busy...and...the phone disconect and conect ...i think that is the problem...i will look forward to se a respons from u ..and i will go to bring a coffe..and stay in bad 1 hour )))

poisondani - I think the problem is that your device is not connecting to your PC properly.

Do you have a friend with a PC that does not have Vista on it? Perhaps you could try installing Desktop Manager on your friend's PC and see if it will stay connected then.

EDIT: I found another post where someone was having problems getting their BB connected to Vista PC. Here is what that person did:

1) uninstall current Desktop Manager
2) install again
3) do not restart computer (even though installer asks for restart) and do not start Desktop Manager yet
4) connect Blackberry to PC, wait until Windows Explorer recognizes your device and you get system message that Blackberry driver was installed.
5) open Desktop Manager

If you can get that far, and the device stays 'Connected', then you should be able to complete the installation of the OS.
