Question weird redirection issue this morning

Please Login to Remove!

This morning at 10:04am EST my blackberry suddenly received multiple messages that it had already received on July 7th. This is using the redirector with outlook 2003 on an exchange server. I've got a 7510 on the Telus Mike Network.

Nothing changed on the desktop pc. The redirector has remained open for the last 6 days, since my last reboot, as has outlook. I wasn't even using the PC at the time.

The email messages originally came in on July 7th at various times during the day.

I just spoke with my boss and he too had the same issue at around the same time, only while I had a handful of messages he had thousands suddenly come streaming in. They were all messages from July 7th, most of which were spam that normally never make it to the blackberry (outlook catches them first). His inbox was filled with thousands of the automated messages from blackberry.net. We eventually just stopped the IMS on the server, manually deleted the blackberry messages from the inbox to prevent them from going to the blackberry, and restarted the IMS.

I also just spoke with a friend who has absolutely no connection to my company who had the same issue.

I haven't had any issues since 10:04.

Did anyone else experience this? Has anyone ever experienced anything like this, or know what the cause might be?
