Default GrandCentral... calls only?

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings all...

Those of you who are using GrandCentral... does it allow forwarding of text and picture messaging? My whole interest in GC is the idea of not having to advertise my actual cell phone number. Since our BlackBerry(s) are not limited to just phone calls, we would need an app that treats SMS & MMS in the same manner... otherwise we would still need to hand out our cell numbers, correct?

Thanks!

Yes, only calls.

Only if you want to receive SMS/MMS from people. You've got an email device, why not email? Almost any phone can send an email? You can give them a GC email (GC#@grandcentral.com), and that forwards to an email you specify.

I understand what my device is capable of... it's the other people who don't have the benefits of an email capable device that prompted my inquiry. While all my friends wish that they shared the same blackberry addiction as me... they just haven't evolved to them yet.

Thanks for the info!
