I have a blackberry and I am thinking of switching over to VZW from TMobile. I heard VZW's Data Plan went down in price so now they seem more attractive. Are there any misc. fees that I would have to pay for under VZW vs. TMobile?

Also, I live in Illinois/Chicago suburb, are there any network issues there that I need to worry about?

I am planning on getting their 350 minute voice plan, Data Plan and Text Messaging.

Any assistance will be great. I think I will be waiting for the Curve to come out before I switch over.

big, you need to get the carrier that has the best signal and coverage where you live, work and travel. No one can answer that question but you.

You can get a VZW device and test it along side your TMo, and return it within the total refund window if it does not satisfy your coverage needs.

i live and work in chicago and the suburbs. VZW is the best signal period around here. the download speed is great. Now with the 29.99 plan I am even more of a happy customer, that was actually one of the only problems i had with vzw paying the 44.99 fee for services i didn't even utilize.

bigmex, you may realize this already, but just to make sure - your T-Mobile BlackBerry won't work on Verizon, you'll have to purchase a new BlackBerry. And Verizon doesn't have any versions of the Curve at this point - you'll be limited to the 8830 or 8130 I believe. Of course either is a lot newer than the one you have in your profile right now.

Right, I do know I have to buy a new one. I talked to a rep today and they are expecting the Curve to come out at the end of March.

Does anyone know how soon I cancel with T-Mobile, if my contract is up in May?
