I searched but did not find a direct answer. I think I already know the answer but here goes.

Is there a way to set up a certain ringtone for a catagory? I have over 200 contacts in a certain catagory and would like to have an assigned ringtone for the entire catagory without adding it to each contact.

You can assign a ringtone to a single contact. If you group them then just assign the same tone to each in the group. Not the best method but it will give you a different sound. Takes a while but once set up add's and deletes are easy
