Outlook Syncing Issues Hi All A few weeks back I backed a users blackerry on my PC, from there on in my Outlook 2003 keeps picking up the users calender activities, Is there anyway to get this to longer do this. I have delted all the RIM and blackberry Desktop Manager details out of Application Data on the PC in question. Yikes Any Help would be very much appreciated. Thanks. |
If you are on a BIS, the only way for the users calendar activites to be picked up via your outlook would be if you set up a sync in DeskTop Manager for that particular device, ot sync to your outlook. Once you remove the device from DM the sync no longer occurs. |
It sounds like you somehow managed to sync it to your calendar. I think you are going to have to go through your calendar and clean the mess up. This is a very good reason why you shouldn't plug other people's BB's into your computer with your profile logged on. |
Ahhhhh!!!! Thanks for the quick response A harsh Lesson learnt! I remeber when I was doing the back up and restore function using Desktop Manager it decided to run the sync after restoring to a new device, whilst logged in as my profile. Damn it!!!! Again. Thaks for the Help as i plug away deleting hundreds of entrys from my calender Doh! |
