When I woke up this morning, I hopped on the tubes and checked my work email from home. There was an email sent to all of the stores in my company stating that "the Black Berry Server form Sprint/Nextel has crashed and they are not aware of when they will get it back up and running."
But, it seems to be more widespread then just Sprint/Nextel. Especially considering that I woke up to the phone's email alert. I haven't had any issues at all with it, but thought I would share with you guys what I saw right away this morning.

My BIS has not been working well today either. I am getting late emails. I am on the Nextel network in the Knoxville area.

Ok, I guess I was mistaken. The emails I received earlier must have been a fluke. But pin messages aren't working for me at all. I really don't do a whole lot of those.

I am in Fresno, CA and on the sprint/nextel network and haven't gotten my emails either. I checked my hotmail/gmail accounts and they have gotten new emails last night but never made it to my 8130. Any updates???

There is no current outage reported on RIM or any carriers.

If all the email support tips and have been tried, AND your PIN messaging fails, call your carrier support.
You might consider posting/checking here as well.

When I signed into the sprint BIS site and requested to have my password sent via PIN and still have not received that message. That was about 20 min ago. Luckily I was able to remember the password to log in to resend the service books but still nothing.

call your carrier, Sprint in MD/DC/VA is working fine, and a co-worker sent me a PIN message from LA via Sprint about an hour ago.

I just sent you a PIN and it continues to show in RED with a clock icon next to it.
I reported it on dataoutage.com. A person in NY also reported outage as well.

sounds like a localized carrier issue. I have 5 blackberrys sitting next to me and all are receiving email within a few seconds of one another. biggdogg anything to do in lexington? ill be down there in a couple weeks to conduct trainings.

Yeah all my people on sprint nextel in atlanta are working fine. I sent and recieved PIN messages to all of them.

My company has a lot of clients with BB issues but it's random.
I'm in NY and we have Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T and it's affecting everyone differently.
All my co-workers in my group (7 people) have T-Mobile but half are working and the other half are not.
