Hi, is anyone else having a problem with a GMAIL account? All emails to my GMAIL, show up not once, but twice on my blackberry. I have the BB 7280, on Rogers in Ontario. Every response to a thread, every single email to my GMAIL is duplicated. My POP and HOTMAIL accts work fine. Just wondering if this is a known issue, or just me. Thanks for any help you can be.

No I am having this issue too when ever I send an email to a friend from my PC it also sends it too my BB 7520 Nextel?

Gmail was sending duplicates last nite to me also. Both through the web client. Not having the same trouble today though.

whenever I send a email on my pc using gmail a copy gets sent to my bb too. I thought it was the standard practice.

I was getting duplicates of emails sent to my gmail from others, not what i was sending from gmail.

I suspect the duplicate e-mail problems are related to the peculiarities of Gmail POP; I haven't heard about any duplication problems when using Gmail's filtered forwarding. Like deezmfnutz suggested, visit a few of the threads re Gmail POP v. forwarding for more discussion.

Yeap I think you are right..I changed to forwarding instead of POP and no more dups. Also I just used the forwarding feature without a filter and it seems to filter out automatically the spam.

Very interesting, I was under the impression that SPAM would be forwarded unless the in:inbox filter was applied. Keep a close eye on things you may yet receive spam. YMMV.

So far spam has been caught and not forwarded...stay tuned
