Default BT-Connect BlackBerrys to share Internet/phone?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello @,

I have the following configuration where I want to BT-connect two BlackBerrys.

The one is the (Vodafone) BB 8707v which is UMTS-enabled.
The other one is the GPS-enabled (Vodafone) BB Curve 8310.

Both BB are BT-enabled-

I have two contracts (and SIM-cards), too.
One is a BASE (ePlus) contract with Internet flatrate. The SIM card is in the 8707v which can share the Internet connection "as modem".
The other contract is a Vodafone contract where I can telephone a certain time each month for free and can send SMS for free, too. This SIM card is in the 8310 Curve.

Now my question:
Can I share the services on each of the devices?
Meaning share the Internet flatrate from the 8707v and use it on the 8310.
And the other way round, use the free phone connection from the 8310 on the 8707v.

Best regards,

i doubt if this will work; i mean BBs work with PINs and not with SIM cards; have you tried switching the SIM cards between the two? if the 8707 would get what the 8310 is getting if you switch SIM cards?
