Question about Nextel and Canadian calls
This is more a Nextel question than it is a Blackberry one, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway.

I have a friend in Nova Scotia, and I call her from time to time. Last night, I called her from my Nextel as a test. It was after 9pm. Looking at my bill, it appears to have gone into the "Free Nights and Weekends" category. I've never made an international call on Nextel, so I don't know if there's a specific category for them.

My friend's number is 902-532-XXXX and from what she tells me, some carriers see this as a US number.

So the question is: Am I paying 20 cents per minute, or is it rolling into Free Nights and Weekends?

FYI: I called Nextel, and their answer was "It should be International, but it doesn't look like it. You'll know when you get your bill." I love Nextel.

Can anyone w/ a similar experience shed some light on this?

We have people in the States calling up to Toronto frequently using their 7510s and 7520s with nextel. They are always charged International

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 04:47 PM.
