not sure if this is the right place to post, but just got the following in my inbox:

AT&T news now: alert <http://newsnow.att.com/newsnow/images_quickcom/nn_alert_110307.jpg>
<http://intranet.sbc.com/newsnow/images_quickcom/filler.gif> AT&T to launch unlimited wireless calling plan

<http://newsnow.att.com/newsnow/images_quickcom/voice_021508_sm.jpg> Today we announced an exciting addition to our industry-leading lineup of choices for wireless consumers across the country: an unlimited U.S. voice calling plan. Priced at $99.99, this new plan adds to our already impressive list of customer-friendly pricing initiatives including ROLLOVER, which lets customers carry over their unused minutes each month, and AT&T Unity, which offers unlimited calling to 120 million wired and wireless customers xxx151; the largest calling circle in the world.

"We are pleased to offer our customers a great new plan that delivers value and simplified pricing," said Ralph de la Vega, president & CEO, AT&T Mobility. "This is a highly competitive market and we're committed to moving fast to meet customer needs."

The unlimited plan will be available to new and existing wireless subscribers beginning this Friday, Feb. 22 at our 2,200 company-owned retail stores, at ATT.com, and at thousands of authorized AT&T retail locations. It is available for all devices it can be combined with any current wireless data plan and customers will not be required to extend their contract.

"We deliver an unbeatable value proposition for customers," said de la Vega. "And we've got the perfect trifecta xxx151; incredible pricing plans, compelling and exclusive devices like the iPhone, and extensive distribution channels xxx151; which makes it hard for competitors to beat us."

Was that supposed to be 10 dollars per line after the main line? or 100 for each additional line? Because at 100 thats one expensive phone bill :|

the big three now will have unlimited plans. puts them on par with voice and BB data, though Sprint's does include GPS and unlimited messaging as well.

Cost of Unlimited my friend

if they offered the traditional 9.99 add a line for unlimited they would end up losing money and that isn't good from business standpoint
