| jwaters is almost right. Only thing is that they're both identical pieces of software, but the Internet Browser is crippled to so that it only functions as a WAP browser while the Blackberry Browser has no restrictions.
If you ask me, it's dumb to have both, and I don't know why carriers do it this way. An extra browser eats up additional memory that can be used for other programs by the end user. I say they'd be better off with just the HTML browser, since if you load a WAP site in it everything displays just as it would with the other browser. |
