Default personal emails still delivering to wiped phone

Please Login to Remove!

please help.
i have a user that has taken over a blackberry from a terminated employee. per our policy, we wiped the phone as soon as soon as possession was taken over. however, somehow the termed employee's yahoo email is STILL being delivered to the phone. this is still happening even after another "successful" wipe. is this something in the user's yahoo email settings or has it somehow embedded itself into the phone? what do i do to make the emails stop? we are on a BES if that helps any.
thanks in advance!

You need to call the carrier to have them remove the BIS account.

you need to log into the BIS account and remove the email from it. if you do not have access, call the carrier to have them delete the BIS account altogether. then, after removing the service books from options > advanced> service books for that email, you wont see even the icon anymore.

I'm curious. Is the setup internet email function present on blackberrys on BES? If so, and for users on BIS who find themselves in this situation, a short term solution perhaps is to delete the BIS email from the handheld. That would at least stop the email. Of course other issues from the active BIS account would have to be dealt with as posted above.

The old user may have set up the xxx.blackberry.net email address and set his Yahoo to forward to the BB. The BES server would not know this but Rim would forward to the BB.
The new user should see a second email icon with the address it is using.

I would try contacting the old user to stop the forwarding. Then get the login password for the BB.net system he used and change the setup.
