Default Does BB 7100g runs 72xx software?

Upon further inspection, I see that the BB 7100g screen and menus are in list format.

Having never used one hands-on (unlike the 72xx series):
  • Do all the apps (PocketDay, RSS, etc) work on the 7100g as they do other contemporary, BB 4.0's?

Well I guess the quick answer would be yes, though not in every case. Both operate on the same J2ME Java platform but developers are required in some cases to write apps separate or adjust code for the 7100 series as the screen display differs from 72xx/77xx devices.
