Default Unlock Blackberry 5810

Please Login to Remove!
I got BB 5810 but in GSM1900, please kindly advice how to unlock to GSM900/1800

You can't.
"Unlocking" means opening it up to use with a different carrier SIM card. The 5810 is 1900 MHz ONLY. You can not and will never be able to use it on 900/1800.

Dear NJBlackBerry,
it means I can unlock BB5810 if I change the carrier SIM card for GSM900/1800. Can I do it on this BB mainboard?

Nothing can be done on the main board, unlocked or no the 5810 will only communicate on a 1900MHz GSM network, not GSM900/1800.

Default The 5810 is only 1900 MHz
As both Finch and I have said, the 5810 only runs on the 1900 MHz network. THAT'S IT. There is nothing you can do. No mainboard, no SIM, no magic. If you need 900/1800, you need to get another BlackBerry. Just not the 5810.

I believe 5810 blackberry was never sold with lock on it. I have 10 of them and they are not locked. the locking thing usually started after carriers started signing exclusive market agreements. also 5810 will only run on 3.6 version and it will not take 4.0 versions.

Joginder - please reread the entire thread. The OP wants to take a 5810 and use it on GSM bands that it can not ever use. It has nothing to do with locked or unlocked.

Which part of the response from others are you missing? As mentioned more then once NO, NADA, NOT POSSIBLE the BB 5810 will not communicate on a GSM900/1800 netwwork (I repeat it will not work) it wasn't designed for it. If those are your requirements your going to need to purchase a newer model.

Oops!!! means BB5810 has to bring back usa for using. Poor me! someone hacker can unlock it? I think it's simple, just only import unlock code for SIM GSM900/1800. Pls help me for a code....!!!

no, it's just simple!!!! I insert SIM card inside BB5810, but no network signal, can not call. Pls kindly help!!! tks

The 5810 is locked to the original carrier. If you are in the United States, with a 1900 MHz SIM card, unless the card is from the original BB carrier (T-Mobile?) you can not use it. If you need to "unlock" the BlackBerry to work with another carriers SIM card, then you must either call the carrier or contact http://www.bongowireless.com and PAY THEM to unlock it.
