Default BB Browser shortcut on main screen?

Please Login to Remove!

Our company has written a website for entering workorders,
I was wondering if there is a way to make a shortcut to the site from the main screen? We are using 7520's on the telus network.

Regards,
CJ

It is not possible to create shortcuts off the main screen. Either set that page to your home page for the browser, bookmark it or you can save the page and access it using your messages.

Yes, you can create an icon on the main screen that opens the default browser to a specific web page. You would need to write a java app to do this. If you look in the developer forums at http://www.blackberry.com/developers/forum/index.jsp you'll find examples there.

However, without using a custom-developed java app, I don't think there's a way to put it on the main screen.
