Default Reoccurring meetings

Please Login to Remove!

I'm in a corp environment with exch03 and BES servers. I have 2 users so far who have reoccurring meetings setup. We also have wireless sync setup for their calendars. For some reason, when we delete one instance of the meeting on their calendar within Outlook, it's not syncing up with their BB. Outlook says the meeting has been deleted, but that's it. Are reoccurring meetings different in some way? One of my handhelds has 4.0 on it, not sure about the other. I would assume 3.6.

Wireless synching is only available if you have a 4.0 BES and a 4.0 BB. If one of the handheld is 3.6, it will not work. Another thing to mention is that the wireless sync is a 'slow sync' where it will sync over a period of time, not all at once. You could manually sync to speed up the process.

That's not true. We have over 1500 people on BES 3.6 and handhelds with 3.6 software too and wireless sync works just fine. It appears to be only with reoccurring meetings. Everything else works just fine. And it's only when you delete one instance of the meeting for that week. The next week's meeting is fine.

Ah yes, that is true. I was thinking about wireless memopad, tasks, contact book, etc. Well since you have a BES with 1500 users I would think you have TSupport. Give RIM a call or if not, call your carrier and if they can't fix your issue, they will transfer you to RIM.
