i was gonna turn off my phone today and the screen froze i got an error that said bad dns string... so i tried shutting it off normally but that didnt work so i took out the battery to see if it would function again and now i get the following errors when i boot up JUm ERror 523... with a reset option but it dosent do anything if i hit reset...it just restarts and i get the same error...i tried calling nextel support but they are closed ...

anyone know what i can do to make it work?

You need to reload the handheld Operating System.

Use javaloader and do a wipe function first (Search for a thread on javaloader and it will direct you to download it and how to do a wipe) Then reload the OS, and if you had a backup restore it afterwards.

If you need the Desktop Manager and the HandHeld OS here is the link to download the Desktop Manager and the OS Version 4.0.0.319, just pick it from the drop down menu.

Hope that helps some what. My old 6510 did that to me once, I reloaded the OS through the Desktop Manager and restored from a backup, and away I went.
