Default Newbie ? Power Down Display

Please Login to Remove!

I tried to search for this first but no luck. How do you power down the display w/o turning off unit? I have a 7520. I have used palm and ppc phones b4 so I guess I hate to see the display on all of the time becuase I figure it takes away battery power.

I bought a case that says it powers down the display. It is a super tight fit so maybe it is done by holding down certian keys.

Thanks for your help.

The cases made for the blackberry have a magnet in them that turns off the display when the unit is placed in the case or holster. Make sure that you use only cases made specifically for the blackberry. Some aftermarket cases and holsters do not have the magnet.

I suggest the OEM black leather or the OEM vertical for the 7520 those two are the best.
