No Data Connection
Has anyone being having issues with there BB and getting No Data Connection. I know the work around is to delete the service books and push them back down but that seems like a work around.
I have talked with RIM and they have heard of the problem but don't know if they have a really issue. I am just wondering if alot of people are getting the same problem.
If anyone has a different work around that would be great. The problem that I have is that I am running BES 3.6 and can't remotely fix these issues. Big pain!!!

How about telling us what carrier you are on, what models BB and where you are located? That would be a big help in trying getting started...

Sorry about that. Here is some additional information. The models that are affected are Verizon 7250, T-mobile 7290, and ATT 7100. All these devices are in Michigan. I hope this helps.

Try hard reseting the BB's (take out battery and put back in) and see if you get a data connection. There is not much RIM can do to troubleshoot if you don't have a data connection so call the carrier and verify there is no outages and that you have the correct services provisioned for the BB.

I have a 7250 from Verizon and have had the No Data problem appear once only in 2 months that I have had it. It happened in an area that the service was bad. I took the battery out when I got home and reset it and have not had the problem happen again in two weeks, so I believe it was related to an area of poor cellular coverage. For so me reason in this area Verizon, Nextel, ATT all have problems so it must be something in the area that gives the towers a hard time.
